Like all churches, All Saints is a community which relies on the activities of many members of the congregation, all contributing in different ways. There are lots of ways to get involved!
Worship
Servers
The servers play a vital role at the Eucharist on Sundays and Holy Days, in carrying the Cross (the ‘crucifer’) and candles (the ‘acolytes’) in procession and in assisting the clergy at the Altar before and after Holy Communion.

Choir
The choir supports the worship on a Sunday morning, leading the hymn singing. New members are always welcome, particularly for festivals!

Junior Church
Sunday School sessions include a mixture of teaching and worship, with a range of activities: storytelling, quizzes, craft, games, discussion, prayer, reflection, and singing. Recent areas of study have been key figures from the Old Testament, and the main events in the life and teaching of Jesus. It is informal and friendly, so if you are visiting with children, do come and join us!

Flower Arrangers
Throughout the year members of the congregation kindly bring flowers to brighten up the Church, particularly at the main festivals. There is a rota for flowers, and more contributions are always welcome.
Cleaning Group
The group meets usually on the first Wednesday of the month in the afternoon, to scrub and polish the church and keep it shining for worship. Fun, friendly, and a vital part of church life!

Lunch Club
In 2016, we started a Lunch Club, aimed at being a place for friendship, food and fun for older members of our community (but all are welcome!) A terrific group of volunteers help put on the lunch, which happens on the 2nd Friday of every month. We ask for a £3 donation to help cover the cost of food. Come along and join us as a member or volunteer!
